This privacy policy explains how Crossgrid Words handles information in the iPhone and iPad app.

Information We Collect

Crossgrid Words does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or other contact details. The app does not access your photos, contacts, camera, microphone, precise location, Bluetooth, calendars, reminders, or health data.

The app does collect limited gameplay, analytics, advertising, diagnostic, and purchase status information through the services described below.

Local Game Data

Crossgrid Words stores game progress locally on your device. This may include campaign progress, level completion, daily history, library completion, best scores, best times, settings, and seed run history.

Local game data is used only to make the app work, restore your progress, and show your completion history inside the app. If you delete the app, iOS may remove this local data.

Analytics

Crossgrid Words uses Firebase Analytics in the iPhone and iPad app. Analytics events may include screen views, gameplay events, level results, daily play activity, library progress context, purchase and restore events, ad load/show/reward events, and error or availability events.

Firebase Analytics may process app instance identifiers, device and app information, diagnostics, and usage data. This information is used to understand how the app is used, improve level balance, diagnose problems, and measure feature and ad performance.

Advertising

Crossgrid Words uses Google AdMob to show ads on iOS unless the Remove Ads purchase is active. The app may show banner ads, interstitial ads, and rewarded ads.

AdMob and Google's consent tools may process advertising data, ad interactions, approximate location, device and app information, diagnostics, and identifiers used by Google ad services. Ads may be contextual or personalized depending on your region, consent choices, device settings, and Google's ad systems. Crossgrid Words requests Google's consent information and shows a Google consent form when one is available and required.

Purchases

Crossgrid Words offers an optional Remove Ads in-app purchase through the Apple App Store. Apple handles payment information. The app stores whether ads have been removed so it can hide ads and restore the entitlement. Purchase and restore outcomes may also be logged as analytics events.

Tracking And Identifiers

Crossgrid Words does not ask you to create an account and does not sell personal information. The current iOS build does not include a custom App Tracking Transparency prompt and uses the Firebase Analytics iOS dependency without Ad ID support.

Because the app includes Google AdMob and Firebase Analytics, Google may process identifiers, advertising data, usage data, and diagnostics under Google's policies. Depending on Apple's App Privacy definitions, your consent choices, and Google's ad configuration, some advertising or analytics activity may be considered tracking.

If you choose to contact support or open a GitHub issue, the information you provide there may be visible on GitHub depending on how you submit it. Please avoid including private personal information in public support requests.
