Privacy Policy
Snapqueue is designed to organize screenshots and text-heavy images on your iPhone without sending your photo library to the cloud.
1. What Snapqueue Does
Snapqueue scans screenshots first, and may also scan text-heavy images that appear informational, to organize items into Recents, Inbox, Library, and deletion review flows.
OCR, categorization, grouping, reminder handling, and deletion review decisions are intended to run on device.
2. Data We Access
Depending on the features you use, Snapqueue may access:
- Photos you allow the app to read from your photo library
- Text detected from those images using on-device OCR
- Derived metadata such as source guesses, grouping labels, reminder state, and review status
- Notification preferences and reminder schedules you choose
- Purchase status needed to unlock Pro features
3. How Your Data Is Used
- To identify screenshots and qualifying text-heavy images
- To organize items by source, thread, category, and action type
- To power Inbox states such as due, snoozed, done, and reminders
- To let you review possible deletions before anything is removed in Photos
- To send local reminder notifications that you explicitly enable or schedule
4. Cloud Services and Accounts
Snapqueue does not require you to create an account. The app is intended to work without uploading your screenshots or OCR content to a remote server.
If you purchase Pro, Apple may process payment and subscription or purchase data according to Apple’s own policies. Snapqueue itself does not receive your full payment credentials.
5. Notifications
If you allow notifications, Snapqueue may schedule local notifications for recurring review reminders and per-item reminders that you create. Notification content is kept generic and is not intended to expose your OCR text on the lock screen.
6. Deletion Review
Snapqueue may suggest that certain images appear safe to remove, but nothing is auto-deleted. Any deletion happens only after you explicitly confirm it through Apple Photos.
7. Data Retention and Control
Processed data and review state are stored locally on your device. You can limit photo access in iOS Settings, remove notifications, delete items from Photos yourself, or uninstall the app to remove its local app data.
8. Children’s Privacy
Snapqueue is not directed to children under 13, and the app is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children through online accounts or direct submissions.
9. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If material changes are made, the updated policy will be posted at this page with a new effective date.
