Privacy Policy
Last updated November 2, 2026
This policy explains what information SlabForge ("we", "us") collects when you use the SlabForge app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, contact us at support@slabforge.app.
What we collect
| Information | Why we collect it |
|---|---|
| Name and email address, from Sign in with Apple (Apple may give us a private relay address instead of your real email) | To create and secure your account and contact you about orders |
| Date of birth | To confirm you are 18 or older. It is entered once and cannot be changed in the app |
| Shipping address | To ship the slabs you choose to have delivered |
| Purchase and pull history: packs opened, slabs pulled, sold back or shipped, and wallet transactions | To run your account, show your activity and receipts, and prevent fraud |
| Payment information | Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe) through Apple Pay. We never see or store your full card number |
| User ID and app usage: screens viewed, buttons tapped, and session recordings of the app with text fields and your date of birth masked | To understand how the app is used and improve it (via PostHog) |
| Crash and performance data | To find and fix bugs (via Sentry) |
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos or health data.
How we use it
- To provide the service: open packs, hold your credit, buy and ship slabs, and process sell-backs.
- To keep the service safe: verify age, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce spending limits.
- To improve the app, using analytics and crash reports.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal information.
- We don't track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we don't use your data for third-party advertising.
- We don't send your name, email or address to our analytics or crash-reporting providers. They see only an account ID.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run SlabForge, and only what each one needs:
- Apple: sign-in and Apple Pay.
- Stripe: payment processing and fraud prevention.
- Shipping carriers and fulfillment partners: your name and address, to deliver your slabs.
- PostHog: product analytics.
- Sentry: crash and error reporting.
- Hosting and database providers that store our data.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or SlabForge.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information while your account is open. Records of payments and transactions are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require, even after an account is deleted.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile → Delete account. Deleting removes your name, email, address and sign-in from your account. Transaction records are kept in anonymized form as required by law. Any remaining credit is lost when the account is deleted. You can also ask us to delete your data by emailing support@slabforge.app.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, and to object to some uses of it. To make a request, email us. We'll respond within the time the law requires.
Age requirement
SlabForge is only for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that someone under 18 has signed up, we close the account.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Sign-in sessions are stored in your device's Keychain, and session tokens are stored on our servers only in hashed form. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
