Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and SlabForge ("we", "us") and cover your use of the SlabForge app and website. By creating an account, you agree to them.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use SlabForge. You confirm your date of birth when you sign up. We may close accounts that don't meet this requirement. You may hold only one account.

2. Your account

You sign in with Apple. You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your device secure. Tell us right away if you think someone else has used your account.

3. Credit

• You add funds to your SlabForge wallet with Apple Pay. Funds become credit that can be used only in SlabForge, for packs and shipping.
• Credit is not a bank account. It cannot be withdrawn, redeemed for cash, or transferred to another person, and it earns no interest.
• Credit you add is non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, or where we choose to refund it (for example, a duplicate charge).
• Credit left in an account is lost when the account is deleted or closed for breaking these terms.
• We may limit how much you can add in a period, to prevent fraud.

4. Packs

• Each pack contains exactly one graded trading card slab, chosen at random from that pack's published list of outcomes and probabilities. You can view the odds for every pack before you open it.
• Outcomes vary in value. Most pulls are worth less than the pack price, and some are worth more. Values shown in the app are estimates of current market value, not guarantees.
• Each pull has a receipt showing the pack version it was drawn from.
• Once opened, a pack can't be returned or refunded.

5. Ship it or sell it back

• After a pull, you choose to have the slab shipped or to sell it back for credit.
• Sell-back credits your wallet with 85% of the slab's market value shown at the time.
• If you don't choose before the timer shown in the app runs out, the slab is sold back automatically.
• Shipping: the shipping fee is shown before you confirm, and slabs valued at $250 or more ship free. We ship within the United States only.
• Your slab is a copy of the same card, from the same grading company, at the same grade as your pull. The certificate number is assigned when it ships, so the individual slab may differ from any image shown.
• If we can't obtain a slab you chose to ship, we'll try other copies of the same slab, and if none can be obtained we'll credit your wallet with its full market value (not the sell-back rate).
• Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. If a package is lost or arrives damaged, contact support within 14 days.

6. Spending limits

You can set a weekly spending limit in your profile. Lowering a limit takes effect right away. Raising one may take effect after a waiting period.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use bots or scripts, exploit bugs, use payment methods you aren't authorized to use, open multiple accounts, or interfere with the service. We may suspend or close accounts that do, and reverse credit or pulls obtained this way.

8. Intellectual property

Card names and images belong to their respective owners. SlabForge is not affiliated with or endorsed by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Bandai, Konami, Wizards of the Coast, Disney, PSA, CGC or BGS. The SlabForge app, name and design belong to us.

9. Changes and availability

We may change packs, odds for future pack versions, fees or features. Odds never change for a pack version after it is published. We may update these terms; if a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app, and continuing to use SlabForge means you accept it. We may suspend the service for maintenance or other reasons.

10. Disclaimers and liability

SlabForge is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you added to your wallet in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Closing your account

You can delete your account in the app at any time (Profile → Delete account). Slabs already being bought or shipped are completed first. We may close an account that breaks these terms.
